That's it. No more shopping for wedding gown. I'm done. Bought it tonight.
Even though it's cheaper to buy the gown in China, it is probably not worth it spend the time on travelling there for fitting and picking up. So, I finally decided to buy my wedding gown in HK.
It is a very simple gown in off-white colour with a 2-foot train. Sorry, no more details as I don't want to give it away! It's a light material, so hopefully it won't take up too much of my luggage weight allowance.
I don't think I negotiated the absolute best price, although I certainly think it's a reasonable price for what I'm getting already. I'm extremely satisfied with it and can't wait to see the final product!!!
Also, I really want to thank my mom for ALL her support. She has been there for me, both mentally and physically, being there for every shopping trip and quoting process, and of course, her superb negotiations skills! I was able to get more than I wished for without blowing my budget. What more can I ask for?
As of now, my gowns are taken care of and invitations are getting printed, my major to-do items are out of the way, I can start to relax and enjoy my HK trip. Will start looking for hair accessories and jewelry (the funner part) and also Chinese traditional wedding items like comb, red pockets, etc...
Off to bed now...it's 1am in HK...
