Today is my last day in NYC. I'm going to miss this place! NYC reminds me so much of HK, the crazy traffic, people every where (even late at night), billboard ads, I love this place!
For my last day of stay, I wanted to do a good wrap up of the city. So, I took the subway with Adrian to Macy's and shopped for a little bit - my last efforts on Memorial Day sale. After shopping at Macy's, I walked to Times Square one last time. I was a little sad knowing that it will be a while until I return....so I breathed the scenary in and took lots of pictures. Another place I loved was the Central Park, so I took the subway to 59th Street (the South West corner of the park) and started walking North, hoping to walk the whole length of the park again. Central Park is really a nice escape from the hectic city life. People there all did their own thing: jogging, canoeing, biking, sunbathing, there are even yoga classes held there! It's very relaxing from the 'normal' New York lifestyle.
Sad to say, I got up to 86 Street and was quite tired already, so I bailed and walked to the Subway to return to Adrian's.
This 5 day getaway was really perfect for me. New York city kept me very busy to think about anything else! I was able to relax from the wedding planning for a little while and catch up with my good friend Adrian. Thanks for having me!!!
