Wach Auf - A fall festival of song

This past Sunday, I attended my vocal teacher's concert at the Heliconian Hall. She, along with Rita Greer (on clarinet) and Andre Streliaev (on piano), played a variety of songs, featuring different solo parts.

They were all amazing musicians, perfect in balance and tone quality, making it such a delight to listen to. My favourite piece was Sech Deutches Lieder, Opus 103 by Ludwig Spohr. They selected 4 out of 6 of the movements for this concert. I really enjoyed the dynamics between the trio, and the contrast between movements displayed their level of control in their music. It was so wonderful to hear!
