Our first Valentine's Day as Mr & Mrs

Last night was Valentine's Day. All my friends know we don't celebrate Valentine's day because our view is that this is all a commercial propaganda...but thy is year was different.

I bought Yusuf a V-day card. I wrote down some thoughts in it, about our marriage and our future together and gave it to him in the morning. As usual, I went to work and went to vocal lesson in the evening. After my lesson, Yusuf called and told me he wasn't going to Wing Chun and to wait for him at home. My plan was to go to hot yoga to relax!

He picked me up and turns out he already made reservations at a Japanese Restaurant at Finch and Victoria Park! My friends have told me about it before and they have a very special 9 course menu. I've always wanted to try but we've never found the time. When we got there, we saw our very good friends, JKL and Danny having their V-day dinner there! It was kind of funny....

We enjoyed a very special meal and had a great time! We even had some photos taken from afar :D (Thanks JKL!)
