CNE and Spa day!

This Saturday was filled with fun activities! First, Eleanor and I got 4 free tickets to the CNE and the air show from Adrian, so we invited Eva and Yusuf to go and live the "Canadian experience". It's been a while since we've visited the CNE.

When we first got there, we were attracted into this white dome. Turns out it is a Garnier promotion and they offer samples and free hair styling service! Of course, we did not hesitate to try it out! Check out Yusuf and the 2 hot ladies!!!

Then, we reminisced our childhood by going on the ferris wheel! That was pretty fun, except we kept standing up to take pictures and got yelled at by the staff who are at least 10 years younger than us!!! oh well....

The air show started at 1pm. We watched for a bit, but since it was super hot and sunny, we only hung around for 1 hour and left.

The second part of my Saturday includes a mini spa retreat...I gave my good friend JKL a certificate for 2 people at Body Blitz for her birthday, and she invited me to go with her! (Thanks JKL!!!) This is a place that offers water therapy, which is the concept of going through different temperatures in a cycle to detoxify your body. This place is a females only zone, so guests can even be nude if they like. Of course - we didn't!

We really enjoyed our stay there. The atmosphere was very relaxing, the place was very clean and guests can even buy a drink from their bar to stay hydrated through the visit. They provide everything - from towels, soap/shampoo/conditioner, lotion, cotton pads, to robe and even slippers - a very nice touch for guests! I like this place better than Scandanavian Spa!

Body Blitz also has registered massage therapist, so if your company provides benefits, you can book the massage which includes assess to the water therapy facility as well. We are going back for massages in Oct, can't wait!
