10 years and counting...

Today marks the 10 year anniversary of dating for Yusuf and I. We really can't believe it's been a decade! Although I'm still recovering from a cold, we decided to still celebrate this special occasion. For lunch, Yusuf took me to Panera Bread (http://www.panerabread.com/), which I've actually had before in Omaha back in July. Their baguettes were super fresh and delicious! I ordered a panini while Yusuf ordered a sandwich.

For dinner, Yusuf took me to Le Select bistro (http://www.leselect.com/) at Wellington and Spadina. We ordered 2 appetizers: 1. duo de gravlax et de tartare - salmon tartare, and 2. assiette de fromage - 3 cheeses plate. Since we were still full from lunch, for main, we only ordered a noix de St-Jacques aux poireaux - seared Atlantic scallops. The food was devine!!! All the flavours were very delicate and distinct, and all the dishes were able to distinguish themselves from one another. If we really had to choose though, our favourite had to be the cheese plate since we are both cheese lovers. To finish off the wonderful meal, was an aromatic cup of cappuccino.

We highly recommend both places for you to try! If you go to Le Select, look at the map ahead of time because Wellington breaks at Spadina and it's a bit difficult to get to...
