March: annual concert coming up!

For the past few years, March has always been a 'concert' month for me. I've joined Alata Harmonia Chorus of Canada for 4 years now, and loving every minute of it. There are always challenges along the way, but we somehow pull through and make beautiful, moving music.

For our concert on March 28, we will be singing music by Britten, Elgar, Ropartz, and Arne. My favourite would piece would definitely have to be Psaume 136 by Ropartz. The harmony is so delicate and divine that it gives me goosebumps every time we practise it!

This year, I was asked to help in the outreach PR work where I would contact other Toronto choirs, introduce our choir, and give out complementary tickets to promote our choir in the western society. This tasks is quite fun and exciting! I hope that this will help our choir get our name out there!
