Congrats to our friends Victor and Carol!
We went on a horseback riding trip today at Horseplay Niagara as our plan to help Victor propose to Carol! It was her very first time going horseback riding and she was very excited. We previously already placed a bouquet of roses at the pond along the trail and when we went on the horse ride, the guide took us on a break so that we could execute our "Plan A".
During our drive into Niagara, it was raining quite a bit. We were all worried that our plan wasn't going to work...! Miraculously, as we drove closer towards the ranch, the black cloud began moving behind us and finally when we got there, the sun was shining brightly!
Needless to say, everything went smoothly and they are now engaged! To top off such a memorable event, across the pond, we were also able to see the RAINBOW! Now how special is that?!?!!
In terms of the ranch, the scenary there was gorgeous - especially because we saw the sunset (our trail ride started at 3pm). However, Yusuf was a little disapointed because most of the trail was covered in stones so the horses cannot run fast. Considering the length of drive and the price ($50 for 1 1/2 hour), we didn't think it was a super deal if you like a lot of running on the trail ride.
