Today after work, I went over to visit a good friend's daughter who is 2 years old. After playing in the park, I went home about 7pm and witnessed something very horrible.
There was some traffic at Markland and Woodbine, one set of lights north of 16th and when I finally got close enough to see what was going on, I saw a guy lying on the ground with his head and arms covered in blood!!! I was so shocked that I can feel myself trembling a little bit!
Then, I saw a few cars had stopped around and people were on their cell phones, so I assumed that they were calling the police to get some help.
The next day, I saw this unfortunate news on The Star.

It was a hit and run and turned out the man was a relative of a member in my mom's church (MCBC).
